EPAM and TOPCO signed filter distribution contract for Taiwan semiconductor market
Post date: March-02-2020

Ever Pure Applied Materials, a leading filter manufacturing company in Taiwan, has signed a filter distribution contract with TOPCO Scientific (5434), a semiconductor and optoelectronics agent, to continuously expend the scale of operations, providing upstream and downstream filters for Taiwan semiconductor industry and seizing the semiconductor filtering market.

EPAM was established in Miaoli, Taiwan in 2007 and is 100% rooted in Taiwan. It mainly focuses on the development and sales of various industrial filters. At present, its main customers include major display manufacturers such as AUO and Innolux, as well as OSAT companies ASE and PTI. Recently, EPAM hired many filtering professionals who have many years’ experience in filter product and application are actively developing filtering solutions for semiconductor process and actively entering the semiconductor market.

Semiconductor process filtration products are still monopolized by Entegris and Pall. Because of the uniqueness and professionalism of semiconductor process filtration, the Taiwanese company Filtrafine and Grace tried for many years to engage, but still only be able to compete on the lower threshold of factory filtration. In recent years, Mycropore and Cobetter trying to grab the market aggressively, after years of hard work, the gains are still very limited.

The products represented by TOPCO Scientific cover semiconductor upstream and downstream customers, and have complete semiconductor channel architecture. Acting for EPAM semiconductor filtering products, it can use the existing channel structure to quickly develop the market. Combining the benefits of EPAM products and the support of the application technology team, it’ s believed that the oligopoly semiconductor process filtering market can be opened in the short term.
